Active participation

Participants who wish to actively contribute to the scientific programme are invited to register and submit their abstracts via the online registration form. All presenting authors must be registered participants. Authors may indicate their preferred format of presentation (oral presentation, e-poster, or video presentation), however, the final decision regarding the form of presentation rests with the Abstract Committee.

Abstract instructions

Background – a focused statement of 2-3 sentences indicating topic background, importance and the study objective and/or hypothesis.
Methods – subjects, recruitment, procedures/interventions, predictors and outcome measures, statistical methods, IRB approval.
Results – specific findings of the study, with statistical significance indicated where appropriate.
Conclusions – statement of importance/implications of findings, drawn from data presented and related to the stated objective of the study.
Images, Figures, Tables - Up to two images, figures or tables may be submitted in support of your abstract.

Author information - Authors must include their institutional affiliations. The corresponding author must provide a valid email address. To ensure a blinded review process, this information must not appear in the body of the abstract text.
Author responsibility - Authors are responsible for submitting a correct and accurate abstract. Any spelling, grammatical, or scientific errors will appear exactly as submitted.
Submission confirmation - After submission, modification, or cancellation, the corresponding author will receive an email confirmation.
Correspondence - All communication regarding the abstract - including submission confirmation, acceptance or rejection notifications, and presentation instructions - will be sent only to the corresponding author, who is responsible for forwarding this information to all co-authors.

E-poster guidelines

All posters at the congress will be presented in electronic format (eposter) on LCD touchscreens accessible to all participants. E-posters can be created using PowerPoint or other graphic software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXpress).

Screen specifications

Display size: 52 cm wide × 66 cm high
E-poster dimensions do not need to match the screen size; the width will automatically adjust to the screen.
Recommended width: 52 cm
Height: unlimited (vertical scrolling is supported)
Recommended minimum font size for a 52 cm wide poster: 17–20 points

E-poster boards are equipped with a zoom function, allowing viewers to enlarge any image, graph, or detail.

Technical specifications

Video length and format

The video must not exceed 8 minutes in length.
Music is not permitted in the video.
Videos must not consist solely of narrated PowerPoint slides. If slides are used, limit them to a maximum of 5 slides.
Commercial or third-party footage is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
